The Requirement :
A leading Health Care Group/IPA had millions of records of member/plan/fund
information coming from various insurance payers in different proprietary format
and structure while window of insurance approvals for HMO were very limited
making it very difficult to get the reports in required formats for them to make
instant decisions and approvals.
Approach:
Data coming from all the Health Insurance Payers were collected into the SILO. Oracle CDC (Oracle Streams) was used to Track changes in the source data. Using Oracles Data integrators features of reducing the volume of the source data processed in the flow by extracting only the changed data, the efficieny of the data integration process dramatically improved.
The integrated data is then moved to the Oracle CDC into the datawarehouse from where the reports are published to the decision makers on the performace of their funds.
Result:
Based on these reports, our clients were able to make a saving of an excess of 20%.
