Progress Notes
A progress note is the record of a patient, who visits the doctor for a office visit or discharge records which includes the patient’s history of medications and allergies, it has a complete record of all that happened during the visit, which would to be recorded as a template or a dictated note, this note is called the progress note.
Details that are required for entering a progress notes are as follows:
- Patient's data
- The treatment the patient had gone through
- The drugs those were prescribed along with their dosages
- The response of the patient for the treatment etc.
Progress notes save time-consuming paper work and modify, progress notes helps keep work and records organized, and Progress notes provide a wide collection of treatment advances.
Functionality
A progress note helps a physician to view the medicines prescribed during the last visit and also the corresponding data, which includes its dosage and mode of taking the medicines etc. Some details that the physician would update on the progress note are:
